When is the Next Opportunity to Come?

Pre-Kindergarten is the age of socialization among our 4 and 5 year olds. This is the time that your child can learn and grow with other children and understand that teamwork makes the dream work! At Saint Columbkille School my classroom assistant, Mrs. Marisa Torchia and I allow our youngest learners the opportunity to explore the world God has made, while strengthening their social, emotional and academic skills. By the end of this 5 day, full day program, your child will be given an education that is rooted in our Catholic faith and have the essential tools that not only prepare them for kindergarten, but for the rest of their educational lives.

Our classroom environment is very warm and inviting. We believe that having a fun and friendly classroom is key in your child’s success. We are also play- based, meaning that your child will be learning so much simply by being engaged in hands-on activities that are rooted in play. We have very specific literacy and math times that get your child moving and allow us to work in small groups based on individual learning needs. As many know, the key to brain development is interest and movement; thus, we base our lessons on your child’s interests and always make sure to keep them moving.

Lastly, it takes a village to raise a child. You are ultimately your child’s first and BEST teacher. At Saint Columbkille School we believe in working together to make your child the best version of himself or herself in order for them to be excited and engaged life-long learners! I hope this helps you better understand who we are and how we can help educate your child.  - From Mrs. Jamie Stanzeski
