Yearbook

Grades: 6-8

Moderators: Mrs. Rocco

Yearbook club is the group of teachers and middle school students who help implement and design each year’s unique catalogue of visual memories. Students who are in grades six through eight assist in a variety of activities such as selecting potential designs and themes for the book as well as helping to advertise our yearbook sale. Most importantly, they take photos of our special memories and events both in our classroom and at school wide events. Then, they help arrange them by learning how to use the yearbook-building website. Students learn how to take a great photo and see first hand how our yearbook takes shape throughout the year.

Future Teachers (Second Semester)

Grades: 5-8

Moderators: Ms. Schinke

Our Future Teachers program allows students in Grades 5-8 the opportunity to assist teachers in their classrooms, as well as to get to know some of the everyday tasks a teacher does to create an exciting and engaging learning environment for their students.  The program will begin in October and run to the end of the school year.  Students and their assigned teacher(s) will coordinate to set up a time, either before or after school, that works best for both of them.  Students will then meet with their teacher at this time on a weekly basis and will assist in activities such as setting up or taking down bulletin boards, cutting out materials, organizing items, filing papers, adding stamps/stickers to papers, helping to prepare projects and much more.  A sign up form will be available early in the school year, as well as a list of teachers who are part of the program. Students are welcome to put in a request of the teacher they would like to work with and I will do my best to match those requests.  If you have any questions, please contact Miss Schinke.
