Casey Feran is a Cleveland native and graduate of Orange High School in Pepper Pike. She pursued an undergraduate degree from Ohio University in Communication Studies and went on to complete her MEd at John Carroll University in 2012. She fell in love with teaching prekindergarten during her JCU days while interning at Hawken Lower School in Lyndhurst.
Casey has been teaching within the Euclid City Schools for the last 6 years. The last 4 years she spent working in the district’s Head Start program. Her favorite thing about teaching prekindergarten is the amount of growth she sees in the children throughout the school year and working hand in hand with families to help the children grow to their highest potential.
Learning through play is what she believes helps inspire these young people and establishes not only their academic skills, but the social and emotional skills that will lead them to become amazing members of society.
Being part of a Catholic school is also a passion for Casey. She was married at St. John the Evangelist downtown and is a member of the cathedral. She cannot wait to begin teaching religion within her classroom at St. Columbkille and is excited to become an active member of the church community.
In her spare time she loves to go to Indian’s games with her husband and take her dogs for runs in the park.
