It is my pleasure to introduce myself as Principal of St. Columbkille School! I am looking forward to a successful school year, and building relationships with all our community members.
My husband, Sean, and I have three daughters (Theresa, Adeline, and Gail), and a Chocolate Lab named Coco. I grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, and attended St. Mary of the Falls School. I graduated High School from Olmsted Falls High School, and completed my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Akron.
In 2005, I moved to Tucson, Arizona and spent 15 years teaching at Manzanita Elementary. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, and spent a few years as a Reading Specialist. While I spent the majority of my career at Manzanita Elementary, I also have experience as a PreK-6 Curriculum Coach in Huntsville City Schools in Alabama. My husband's job relocated us to Huntsville for a couple of years. In 2015, we moved back to Tucson, Arizona, and I was blessed to be welcomed back to Manzanita.
I believe students are at the center of any school-related decision. I believe education is a collaborative effort involving teachers, staff, students, and families. With a collective community effort, I believe all students will succeed. I am excited to bring my experiences to a warm and welcoming community. I look forward to meeting you all, and working together to foster growth for all our students in academics and in faith. I know as we work together, the Lord will lead us daily through our journey and work together within the school and our community.

Our school mission is to develop our students to live their lives as a Witness to Jesus. We believe our school exists to teach the mandate of Jesus: "Love one another as I have loved you."
We believe that we share the vision of Jesus within an atmosphere designed to celebrate and practice the love of God and neighbor. We motivate students to grow academically, culturally, and socially. Jesus remains with the community He formed, and we are privileged to witness and share that Presence.
